Intern - Sustainability To be based at Biyagama Noyon Lanka, originally a joint venture between a French lace company and MAS Holdings, is a global leader in lace design and production. With design libraries in France and Sri Lanka and production facilities across Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and China, Noyon creates unique lace designs for international brands. Its expertise extends to warp-knit solutions through the INNTRIX collection, catering to activewear, sportswear, and femtech markets. Noyon also pioneers sustainable solutions such as Planetones, a 100% natural dye solution for lace. Key Responsibilities: Connecting with different departments and collecting information. Supporting sustainability team to assist waste management and chemical management tasks. Getting familiar with the Transaction Certificate system and group sustainability process. Organizing employee and community engaged events related to sustainability. Supporting related to environmental sustainability aspects & waste management. Coordinating with Control Union and getting Textile Exchange updated requirements and communicating that to Sustainability team. Knowledge and skills: Following an undergraduate degree in Environmental Science or similar field Good communication skills Good presentation skills Ability to work in a team

Responsibilities

The intern will connect with different departments to collect information and support the sustainability team with waste and chemical management tasks. They will also organize employee and community events related to sustainability.
