Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis on ESG trends and development, best practices, standards & regulations, and technologies relevant to the LNG industry.
  • Support the preparation and execution of sustainability activities i.e.:
  • Preparation of SLNG’s annual Sustainability Report
  • Sustainability Day
  • Activities planning (workshops, talks, trips etc.) for the year
  • Sustainability Training Program
  • Engagement strategy and planning
  • Scope 3 assessment
  • Preparation and execution of Sustainability Steering Committee meetings
  • Support Digitalisation Efforts:
  • Development of an ESG database
  • Digitisation of current ESG/ Decarbonisation related tools
  • Upkeep and troubleshooting of ESG Website/ Dashboard etc.
  • Compile an exhaustive list of local/ global ESG policies that may be applicable to SLNG and develop an automated monitoring system for tracking and alert especially on regulatory/ best practices changes affecting sustainability and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international sustainability regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate sustainability elements i.e. social and governance elements
  • Bring clarity to the efforts that are currently in place (CSR, SWC, HSSE, Staff Welfare) and embellish efforts as required
  • Consolidate the various efforts that are already in place relating to governance (i.e. compliance, anti-corruption, whistle blowing, grievous systems, all governance related trainings, any other GRI disclosures) for next FY’s reporting
  • Ability to analyze sustainability data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities/ conduct cost-benefit analyses for sustainability projects/ provide recommendations for sustainability strategy optimization will be a major plus
