Description
Working closely with the design and integration teams, you will assist in supporting MNAND products such as eMMC and UFS on Android, Linux, and QNX platforms. Assist in system validation on Android/Linux/QNX platforms (e.g., phones, mobile and automotive development boards) Support the development of source code/tools targeting embedded systems Help enable and modify host platform management features Give to configuration and trade-off analysis for future MNAND designs Run benchmark tools and perform critical analysis of output (e.g., performance data) Participate in the design of automated kernel logging systems (e.g., dmesg, kmsg, ftrace) Support kernel driver error handling activities Assist in building Linux kernels to enable/disable MNAND features Basic experience or academic exposure to system validation Familiarity with Bash shell scripting and validation workflows Knowledge of Python programming Programming skills in C (proficiency in C++ would be beneficial) Basic understanding of Android, Linux, or QNX architectures Experience with lab tools such as protocol analyzers, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG/ICE debuggers Experience in testing and test coverage to ensure validation quality and time-to-market (e.g., design verification, code reviews, prototyping, product testing) Exposure to data storage technologies such as NAND, SSD, eMMC, or UFS Experience in firmware development and validation, system failure analysis, and problem-solving Familiarity with modern protocol analyzers and software development methodologies Experience using AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and assist in code development and debugging Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good English knowledge (spoken and written) Committed and well-organized Willingness to travel internationally Currently acquiring a Master's degree or recently completing a Master's program, or possessing equivalent expertise in computer engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Previous internship or academic project experience in embedded systems validation is beneficial.
