Intern – Technical (Based at MAS Bodyline – Horana) The Bodywear Value Stream of MAS Holdings delivers end-to-end design, innovation and manufacturing solutions across lingerie, swimwear and next-to-skin categories. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Preparing database & assisting with department ongoing projects and monitor timely completion of them. Support team to carry out the activities such as identify buyer requirements, oversee the development of technical samples, analyze sketches etc. Support team to assist the technical sample development process related to pattern making/ modifications, modifying samples. Monitoring technical concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner at the pre-production stage. Ensure compliance with the defined governance framework including upholding the MAS DNA, following group policies & procedures, best practices relevant laws & regulations and undertake every necessary action to comply with the governance framework. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Undergraduates in Engineering, Physical Science, Textile or any discipline from a recognized university. Negotiation & presentations skills.

Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for preparing databases and assisting with ongoing departmental projects, ensuring their timely completion. Key duties also involve supporting the team in activities like identifying buyer requirements, overseeing technical sample development, and analyzing sketches.
