Description
Intern ‐ Technology Services (Based at MAS Capital - Malabe) MAS is Sri Lanka’s largest exporter and South Asia’s largest design-to-delivery solution providers in apparel and textile manufacturing. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor and triage security alerts generated by SIEM and EDR platforms to identify potential threats and suspicious activity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support incident response and threat hunting activities. Monitor external attack surface management platform to identify exposed assets, misconfigurations, and vulnerabilities. Track cybersecurity incidents and alerts and follow up with relevant teams to ensure timely investigation, escalation, and resolution. Review and assess software whitelisting requests to ensure alignment with organizational security policies. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Completed or following a bachelor's in Cyber security, Network security or information security. Foundational Knowledge in cyber security concepts and incident handling. Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP addressing, subnets, routing, VLANS, firewalls) Familiarity with security tools and technologies (e.g. SIEM, EDR) Awareness of current attack vectors, malware campaigns, and adversary techniques.
Responsibilities
