Data Analyst Intern Position Summary: Assists the Business Development Specialist and Business Systems Analyst in collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data. The successful candidate will possess an eye for detail and have a teamwork mindset working with colleagues across departments. Job Status: * Part-Time  * Hourly * Temporary (3-6 months) Job Duties (includes, but is not limited to the following) * Collect data regarding operations * Organize, analyze, and interpret trends with operational data * Coordinate with production supervisors when analyzing data * Present standard data sets and information in an understandable and compelling manner * Assist with development of financial models. * Maintain Labor Cost spreadsheet and update other Excel reports and tables as needed * Assist Business Systems Analyst with various projects and tasks Essential Qualifications: * Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs with emphasis in Excel * Follows written and verbal instructions * Communicates effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing * Ability to create and maintain accurate spreadsheets, reports, and files with accuracy * Ability to review and check submitted work of others to ensure accuracy * Possesses a strong understanding of basic math skills * Possesses a general understanding of accounting principles * Ability to function as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the department * Must follow all safety requirements of working in a manufacturing environment. * Bilingual a plus, but not required.
