Job Title Intern-Toxicology-Murrysville, PA-Summer 2026 Job Description Are you interested in an internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) or PhD degree to participate in a 3 month paid Toxicology internship at our site in Murrysville, PA. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. Your role: Generate chemical safety profiles to support Toxicological Risk Assessments for medical devices based on the results of testing for compliance to ISO 10993/ISO 18562. Support building and expanding toxicology database. Collaborate with other internal Toxicologists, Biological Safety Scientists, Engineers, and external laboratories scientists to support Philips Respironics medical devices. Support and co-lead in the study design, monitoring and interpretation of In Vitro, In Vivo, or pre-clinical bio-compatibility studies conducted under Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). This role will require you to work effectively with a global & cross-function matrix teams. You're the right fit if: You are currently pursuing a minimum of a BS in Toxicology or a related field, MS or PhD desired. Knowledge of biological test methods for compliance to ISO 10993 (required) and ISO 18562 (desired). Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrate curiosity and keen interest in learning and sharing knowledge and continually seeking innovative ways to improve through system and work process improvements. Ability to embrace change and being able to operate with discipline and work to meet organizational and business objectives. Philips Transparency Details The hourly pay range for this position is Bachelor Level: $24 – 29 an hour, Masters Level: $33-$46 an hour, PhD Level: $36-55 an hour plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
