QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Final-year undergraduate or master’s student with a strong academic background in finance or related field.
• Fundamental understanding of asset and derivative pricing, particularly in fixed income, currencies, futures, and forwards.
• Basic knowledge of macroeconomics is an advantage.
• Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA.
• Basic programming skills (e.g. Python or similar) are preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a self-starter mindset and strong work ethic.

JOB PURPOSE

LC Beacon Global Fund is a relative value arbitrage fund trading a range of arbitrage and basis strategies across multiple asset classes. We are seeking a highly motivated and numerically intuitive individual to join the team as a Trading Intern for a 6-month internship. Outstanding performers may be considered for a full-time analyst position upon successful completion of the internship (if relevant).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build, maintain, and update fixed income pricing spreadsheets.
• Assist traders with pricing and valuation tasks.
• Support the trading desk in settlement processes and risk reconciliation.
• Participate in the research and development of new trading strategies.
