Responsibilities and Tasks - Responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to, the following: Development for new technology, manufacturing applications, and improvements. Manage projects from definition through first of kind deployment into production. Manage area(s) of responsibility to meet expectations of TSE programs and business processes. Design with safety, ergonomic and Process FMEA. Develop new equipment modification procedures and documentation. Be able to present data, design reviews and information effectively. Qualifications and Preferred Experience - Successful candidates for this position will have: Experience to present to the proper level, build/own PowerPoint slides & content, conduct data compilation & reviews, host functional design reviews, perform root cause analysis and to own/provide information to production and management. Experience with 3D CAD modeling including stress/structural, thermal and flow analysis. Knowledge and/or practice in machining, welding, surface treatments, mechanics and electrical circuits/diagrams. Ability and desire to establish and maintain project ownership from inception to integration. The ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and drive them to a timely conclusion. Ability to perform basic financial studies with justification. Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills. An understanding of safety including ergonomics, OSHA and safe design principles. Proficiency in statistics, data analysis and Design of Experiments (DOE). Pursuing Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
