As part of our Renewables Growth strategy, we are looking for a highly motivated internal account manager - Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) to join our Renewable Heating Team. You will be joining at a pivotal point in our journey to become the market leader in renewable energy solutions as an integral part of the UK decarbonisation journey.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

The role will be broad and varied, working with a number of internal and external stakeholders. The primary focus of the Internal Account Manager role will be to inspire, inform, and educate internal and external stakeholders in the transition to low carbon technology; ASHP’s.
Over the next decade Heat Pump technology will be a clear priority as a proven low risk solution, while also supporting the government’s target in achieving net-zero by 2050. The UK ASHP market is expected to see 600,000 Air source heat pump installations by 2028, with over 30,000 new heat pump installers required by this date.
This specialist and dedicated colleague will drive our ASHP strategy in City Plumbing Supplies to become the No1 leading merchant of choice in supplying and delivering our Air Source Heat Pump proposition through our Internal and External Stakeholders. We are seeking a highly motivated Internal Account Manager specialising in Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) to join our Renewable Heating Team as part of our Renewables Growth strategy. This is a crucial time to join us as we aim to become the leading provider of renewable energy solutions and play a vital role in the UK’s decarbonisation efforts.
In this varied and engaging role, you will primarily be responsible for inspiring, informing, and educating both internal and external stakeholders on the transition to low carbon technology, specifically ASHPs.
You will engage directly with customers, the internal design team, branches and the wider sales team to ensure that heat pump customers receive the best levels of support and customer care to build strong relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Increase of ASHP Sales across renewables sales teams.
  • Collaborate and work with Strategic ASHP suppliers in driving ASHP growth within the City Plumbing
  • Hunt, Maintain, and Develop an ASHP Customer base with a continued call cycle plan in place.
  • “Be the Customers Choice” When we really understand our customers they trust us and buy from us.
  • Supporting our installers with training via our key ASHP strategic suppliers and GTEC partnership agreement - COE Farnborough & 9 GTEC UK locations.
  • Ensure that regular communication is provided to all internal colleagues with new product launches via our key ASHP’s strategic suppliers.
  • Be at the forefront of ASHP legislation changes; (ECO4 / SHDF / HPA / BEIS / Part L)
  • Support the growth of the broader Renewables team and provide inspirational leadership that engages and motivates all levels of colleagues within our business.
  • Drive self learning looking to develop sales skills through working closely with the Regional Sales Management team and branch networks to develop product and market knowledge in the ASHP market sector.
