Responsibilities

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Internal Account Manager to join our sales team in this new role. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and managing relationships with existing clients, third party hauliers and the external sales team from within the office, focusing on customer retention, account growth, and providing day-to-day service and support.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO:

  • Coordinate with other departments such as external sales, production, logistics, customer service and hauliers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact for all enquiries, orders, and support.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients through regular communication via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
  • Process sales orders.
  • Support the external team with quotations, and follow up on outstanding proposals.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services, working closely with the external sales team.
  • Monitor account performance, resolve issues quickly, and ensure customers’ needs are met with a high level of professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs using CRM software.
  • Provide regular updates and to sales and management teams on account status, feedback, and potential risks.
