Responsibilities

Join Barwon Health’s high-performing Public Affairs and Communications team as an Internal Communications Advisor and help drive meaningful engagement across our workforce and community.
The Internal Affairs and Communications Advisor will support the design and implementation of internal communication strategies to drive positive stakeholder engagement and enhance the Barwon Health brand and reputation.
As part of a small collaborative and dedicated team, you will design and implement internal communication strategies that strengthen Barwon Health’s brand, reputation, and staff engagement. Your role will focus on creating compelling content, delivering key communication initiatives, and supporting organisational events and campaigns.
You’ll also contribute to external communications when required and play a vital role during emergency responses.

What you’ll bring:

  • Tertiary qualification in PR, communications, marketing or journalism
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar communications role
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills
  • Experience with social media platforms, graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite/Canva), and content management systems
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
