What you’ll do: You'll shape internal audit strategies and risk management that align with organisational objectives, lead complex cross-functional engagements, and guide your team in identifying and managing emerging risks across the business. Your insights will influence how clients approach governance, compliance, and control frameworks at the highest levels. Creating and executing comprehensive audit test plans. Drafting insightful reports detailing findings and observations. You'll lead senior auditors and specialists through sophisticated engagements, foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and ensure your team delivers insights that help clients anticipate challenges and unlock operational resilience in their asset-intensive and complex environments. What we’re looking for: Leading teams to develop and implement effective internal audit and risk management strategies for our clients. Building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with clients. Coaching and mentoring colleagues, fostering strong internal relationships. Contributing to the growth and success of your team and clients through leadership. Driving the development of methodologies that ensure compliance and enhance business performance. You bring sophisticated knowledge of governance, compliance, and risk management in asset-heavy organisations, paired with the ability to influence senior leadership and shape how clients approach emerging threats and operational excellence. Your track record shows you can lead high-performing teams through complex engagements whilst building lasting client relationships that drive meaningful impact. We're seeking candidates with demonstrated experience leading internal audit/and or risk functionsor complex audit and risk engagements within energy, mining, infrastructure, utilities or manufacturing sectors.
