About the job


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage internal audit engagements from planning through execution and reporting, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop risk-based audit plans, perform enterprise-wide risk assessments, and evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.
  • Review audit workpapers, findings, and reports prepared by the audit team to ensure compliance with professional standards and internal methodologies.
  • Lead engagements related to Internal Audit, Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR), Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Corporate Governance, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Identify control deficiencies, assess business risks, and provide practical, value-added recommendations to strengthen internal controls and operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact throughout engagements.
  • Mentor, supervise, and develop junior team members, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
  • Drive business development initiatives by identifying opportunities, supporting proposals, and contributing to client acquisition and retention.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging risks, particularly within the UAE market.
  • Promote the use of data analytics, automation, and technology-enabled audit techniques to enhance audit quality and efficiency.


  • Requirements:Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIA, CPA, or an equivalent certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of Internal Audit/Risk Advisory experience, including at least 2 years of UAE experience.
  • Previous experience leading audit engagements and managing client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit standards, risk assessment methodologies, governance frameworks, and control testing.
  • Good understanding of UAE regulatory requirements, including CBUAE, DFSA, ADGM, SCA/CMA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience across Financial Services, Insurance, FinTech, Oil & Gas or diversified industries will be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, report writing, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engagements, lead teams, and deliver projects within deadlines.
  • Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to practice expansion.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
