We are seeking an Internal Audit professional with a strong track record in the field. A recognised qualification (CA, CIA or equivalent) is preferred; however, part-qualified candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.

  • Proven internal audit experience
  • A background in coaching and mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent technical knowledge and client-facing skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • A collaborative approach and effective teamworking skills
  • Exceptional organisational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality

Responsibilities
  • Plan and lead end-to-end internal audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practices.
  • Asses key risks and controls to establish a focused audit approach.
  • Conduct detailed testing of controls, identifying weaknesses and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure audits are delivered on time and within budget, proactively managing any challenges or risks.
  • Prepare clear and well-structured audit reports, summarising findings and presenting practical recommendations to clients.
  • Engage with clients throughout the audit process, maintaining strong communication and addressing any concerns or queries.
  • Review and quality-check own work, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal audit standards.
  • Act as a first point of contact for trainees assisting with technical queries and problem-solving.
