My client is a global, leading-in-it field, commercial business, used by thousands of companies and individuals daily. Having been independently named ‘one of the world’s most innovative companies’, they are one of the leading large businesses in terms of sustainability, and diversity and inclusion.
They are looking to hire an Internal Auditor on a remote contact. This means you will only need to be in the office once per week (twice, max.) and your commuting costs into the Head Office will be re-imbursed fully.
Reporting to the internally-promoted Internal Audit Manager, the purpose of this role is to give independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s risk management, control, and governance, by delivering value-adding annual internal audit plan. Travel will be very low (10%, but can be more, but only if desired).
We are looking for a practice-trained (Big 4/Top 10), professional qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, etc.) accountant/auditor, with relevant experience in internal audit and/or external audit.
You will need to be a self-starter, with the ability work independently and as part of a high-performing team; have the ability to get into the details of complex projects, but also see the ‘bigger picture’ of why IA is adding value to the business; and have the future potential go onto bigger management/leadership roles in, or out of IA.
