We are currently seeking a detail-focused and proactive Internal Auditor to join our team in Sydney NSW, on a full-time basis. This role will be responsible for monitoring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring quality service delivery aligned with regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong working knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent attention to detail, investigative skills, and analytical thinking.
  • Clear and confident communication, including strong report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently, uphold confidentiality, and meet deadlines.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance & Working with Children Check.
  • Familiarity with audit tools, risk registers, and client management systems.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and report areas of non-compliance or risk and propose practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with management and service delivery teams to support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Monitor the completion of audit recommendations and support ongoing improvements.
  • Assist with preparation for external NDIS audits and Quality & Safeguards Commission reviews.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory changes, audit frameworks, and best practice standards in disability services.
