Overview The Director, North America Employee Communications is a key leader within PepsiCo’s Global Employee Communications team. This role leads the development and execution of high-impact internal communications that align employees with business priorities, inspire engagement, and drive transformation across PepsiCo’s North America businesses, with a specialized focus on the Foods business unit. The Director will shape messaging strategies, coach communicators, and partner with senior leaders to deliver compelling narratives that connect employees to purpose, performance, and progress. This role also supports storytelling and change communications that advance our One PepsiCo ambition. Responsibilities Lead internal campaigns, transformation updates, executive messaging, and frontline activations for North America, with a specialized focus on enabling the PepsiCo Foods U.S. (PFUS) operating unit strategy. Collaborate with the broader Communications team, HR, Operations, Corporate Affairs, and site-level teams to ensure consistent messaging across salaried and frontline audiences in North America. Apply and adapt internal communications best practices across the global enterprise, leading storytelling initiatives specific to North America and PFUS. Develop and execute channel and content strategy for North America and PFUS audiences, including delivering on large-scale meetings and leadership touchpoints. Guide and coach team members in message development, channel planning and campaign execution. Manage multiple complex projects with speed, clarity and excellence Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually. and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, PR, or related field. 12–15 years of internal communications experience, including employee engagement and change communications. Proven ability to partner with senior leaders and translate complex strategies into clear messaging. Experience communicating with both desk-based and frontline employees. Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Collaborative mindset and experience leading cross-functional projects. Experience in large, matrixed corporate organizations; CPG background a plus.
