Job Description The Role The ideal candidate will already be working in internal communications and have experience in developing and delivering communications plans to support business projects and priorities. A great storyteller, you can easily build relationships across all company functions to discover compelling stories that fit into an overall company narrative. You will transform these stories into engaging content assets, bringing them to life for our employees across multiple digital and in-person channels. Key responsibilities Hub management: Take full responsibility for the management and development of our internal communications hub (intranet), ensuring it remains an engaging, user-friendly, and up-to-date resource for employees. Internal communications plan: Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications plan that supports company objectives and fosters employee engagement. Content creation and distribution: Create, edit, and distribute company updates, news, and key information across appropriate channels, tailored to diverse employee needs. Ensure all materials drive engagement and reflect Fastmarkets' core values and commitments. Deliver engagement content for a variety of different channels. Information flow: Facilitate smooth and effective communication from leadership to all teams, ensuring transparency and alignment across departments. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and unified messaging. Work closely with HR to support employee engagement initiatives, culture programs, DEI and recognition efforts Monitoring and feedback: Analyse the effectiveness of internal communication efforts through feedback and employee engagement metrics, continuously driving improvements. Event support: Assist in the organisation and management of internal events, fostering connection and collaboration across teams. Communications planning: Produce and deliver an annual plan of regular internal communications activities aligned with strategic priorities, ensuring consistency and alignment with Fastmarkets' goals. Support the leadership team in organising and executing townhalls and wider company meetings Training: Provide ongoing training and best practice tips for various departments on how to optimize the intranet. Qualifications Communications degree or equivalent Minimum of 2 years working experience in internal communications or a related field. Expertise in managing intranet platforms and content management systems.
