Description:
Purpose of the Role
The role will be responsible for supporting the management of parallel internal communications projects to meet our vision and objectives for delivering a responsible energy future, as well as supporting day to day marketing activities.
Working under the guidance of our Head of Group BD, Marketing and Communications and Head of Brand, you will liaise with internal stakeholders to bring forward the ambitions of the executive team, ensuring Xodus delivers excellent internal communications and external marketing collateral.
Maintaining high level of satisfaction and engagement with colleagues, you will contribute to business growth and the positive culture of the business through managing strategic internal communications plans to increase awareness of and engagement in identified business priorities.

Communication
- Support the development and manage a strategic internal communications plan with key priorities identified against KPIs and progress tracked and reported on.
- Attend various internal meetings and structure key internal communications activities, pulling in the support of colleagues as needed.
- Liaise closely with our Head of Group BD, Marketing and Communications, Head of Brand, and senior leadership team on deliverables and progress.
- Work in an integrated way with the wider business, seeking out opportunities to introduce new campaigns or work streams and elevate and innovate our existing channels and methods of delivery.
- Oversee and support the central intranet pages and programme of improvements.
- Write speeches and prepare presentation materials for internal townhalls and other company updates.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external agency on bringing campaigns to life.
- Deliver agreed communications goals using skills, experience, contacts and imagination to achieve targeted results against objectives, and flagging up any potential issues that might occur.
- Confidently respond quickly to crisis management situations, under supervision.
Marketing
- Oversee and support the execution of marketing campaigns from across the business particularly LinkedIn.
- Monitor campaign performance for reporting and improvements.
- Produce and support in the review and sign-off of compelling and high-converting copy for marketing collateral.
- Support website updates, ensuring content is accurate, SEO-friendly, and optimised for user engagement while adhering to corporate brand guidelines.
General
- Initiate and/or take part in training and workshops to improve internal communications delivery.
- Liaise on completion of projects to evaluate activity and spend and set parameters for future projects.
- Lead by example in fostering a positive and upbeat workplace culture, reinforcing positive behaviours that demonstrate Xodus company values.
- Seek to introduce new ideas/innovations and work processes.
- Build and maintain relationships with third party suppliers.
- Seek out, maintain and build relationships with broader industry stakeholders to support internal and external communications,
- Present results on a regular/monthly basis to track spend in relation to budget and agree future plans.
Qualifications, Skills & Behaviours
- Previous experience in a busy in-house marketing and communications role is desirable.
- Customer focused, with strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and in writing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different stakeholder audiences and geographies.
- A strong attention to detail and accuracy, along with creative flair.
- Proven track record in managing complex communications projects, ensuring progress is regularly reported and positive outputs are captured and shared.
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
- Ability to plan and organise workload, ensuring effective time management to meet strict deadlines.
- Solutions based, an analytical thinker motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
