Location: Prince George, BC
Employment Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week

The Opportunity:

  • Execute a strategic internal and executive communications plan: You will align internal and executive CEO and COO messaging with the company’s vision, mission and service goals.
  • Work cross-functionally across teams: You will work in close partnership with Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance and Quality and Innovation Programs and Leadership to execute communication initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Lead internal communications plans and projects: Develop and author a variety of internal and executive communications including presentations, announcements, blogs, press releases and live events to be delivered across a variety of communications channels.
  • Conduct research initiatives including literature reviews, focus groups, surveys etc. to determine outcomes and needs relating to communications initiatives.

What You Will Bring to The Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of professional communications experience
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered
  • Experience in a healthcare, child and family services, government or government organization, not-for-profit or corporate environment is considered an asset

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $38.5876 to $49.9719 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
