We're looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join our team, providing parental leave cover for 12+ months in either Wellington or New Plymouth (from mid May to July 2027). This role is part of our People and Culture team, and is responsible for developing all aspects of our ' internal ‘organisational voice’ that is promoted internally and externally. This narrative will be supported through all our programmes, promotion of initiatives, social media presence, and internal storytelling (including the intranet, recognition schemes etc). This role works hard to ensure solutions are fit for purpose, meet the internal customers needs and also drives innovation and progress. All work will work hand in glove with the external marketing strategy and organisational social media strategy. Qualifications He aha ou pukemga nui ake ki tenei mahi? - What will set you apart from the rest? 4+ years’ experience in communications roles. People orientated and results driven. Knowledge of design programmes (powtoon, photoshop, powerpoint, video editing). Knowledge of HR systems and practises preferred. Excellent relationship management skills, to understand issues, and influence outcomes Strong people focus with the ability to mesh new trends with an existing organisational culture.
