Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Internal Communications Specialist to join Equifax’s Australia and New Zealand team. This role will specifically focus on Business Performance updates across our Australia/New Zealand Region. This is a key, newly created role. You'll partner with our existing Internal Communications Specialist (who focuses on employee experience) to ensure all employees have the vital context they need to understand our performance, strategic direction, operational priorities, and project progress. You'll act as a critical link between leadership, major projects, and the day-to-day teams. What You'll Do? Your primary purpose is to navigate our Regional landscape and create timely, relevant communications that keep our employees informed on our business momentum, progress, and challenges. Distil complicated business metrics, financial results, investment plans, and operational updates into clear, digestible, and engaging content. You'll ensure the "What's In It For Me" (WIIFM) is always clear. Actively partner with stakeholders across all business units to gather, review, and distribute critical performance updates. Craft high-impact content across various channels, including Intranet articles, targeted emails, and clear, effective talking points for people leaders. Act as the central liaison for large-scale, cross-functional updates (e.g., cross business process changes, project updates, policy impacts) to ensure information reaches all relevant departments and prevents communication gaps. Work directly with business owners to source, translate, and communicate project goals, milestones, and impacts, ensuring relevance to employees' daily work. Contribute to the regional content calendar for business and performance communications, ensuring a consistent, predictable, and cohesive flow of information across the ANZ region. Manage the publishing and maintenance of business content across our primary internal channels. Help execute company-wide meetings by preparing and coordinating performance and business-related content. Track and report on key metrics (e.g., page views, open rates) to measure communication reach and engagement, using these insights to continuously drive improvements. What You'll Bring 3-5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a similar role with a dedicated focus on business performance or project communication. Excellent writing, editing, and content creation ability, with a proven track record of simplifying complex business and technical topics for a general employee audience. A genuine interest in business, with a strong, rapid ability to understand, interpret, and communicate investment plans and performance information. Proven ability to build strong, effective relationships and work confidently across various business units and levels, including leaders, project owners, and technical leads. High proficiency with digital communication tools, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and enterprise collaboration platforms What Could Set You Apart You're comfortable trying new things, learning from experience, and working in a role where you are comfortable to deal with ambiguity and implement new processes and practices. You understand and communicate with key stakeholders to prioritise the most important, high-impact deliverables. You're a team player who takes ownership of connecting information, actively seeking out missing details, and building relationships to bridge knowledge gaps across the organisation. You have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy when crafting your communications and aligning narratives. You are a great story teller! What's In It For You?
