Your tasks:

• Responsibility for the further development and implementation of the internal control and risk management system (ICS) taking into account the group's guidelines in cooperation with the MPT EU companies and/or auditors.
• Implementation, optimization and monitoring of (SOX) controls in close cooperation with the specialist departments, as well as further development of the Delegation of Authority (DoA)
• Analysis of audit findings and guidance of specialist departments in the development, documentation and implementation of corrective actions for audit findings (IT/Finance)
• Independent communication and coordination with external auditors and internal audit in the preparation, planning and execution of audits.
• Preparation of quarterly QRM reporting including transparency regarding open findings
• Conducting Controller Model File Reviews for key MPT EU companies
• Support with the methodology and processes in the areas of SoD, Critical Authorizations Monitoring and User Access Reviews in close cooperation with IT.
• Providing support to the accounting department with questions regarding the OneStream tool
• Further development of the risk management system and representation of relevant processes in internal and external audits (e.g. IATF)
• Support for continuous improvement initiatives in the finance and IT environments

Your qualifications:

• Successfully completed business administration studies or similar qualification
• Relevant professional experience in the field of internal control, auditing, or controlling
• Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting
• Proficient use of MS Office and SAP (Modules Basis, FI, MM)
• Excellent German and English skills
• Analytical thinking skills and the ability to grasp complex issues in a structured way
• Self-initiative as well as an independent and responsible work ethic
• Excellent communication skills and enjoyment of collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Solution-oriented thinking and action
• Willingness to travel is desirable.
• Ideally, additional knowledge of OneStream, Power BI or MS SharePoint
