ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for person that a strong personal drive to add value and wants to be challenged in this new to be set up position as our Internal Control Manager Europe, with the following background:

• You have a Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance - complemented with a RA / RE/ CPA study.
• At least 8 years of working experience with internal controls, SOX compliance, auditing, or IT risk management.
• Extensive knowledge of SOX compliance requirements, including both business process controls and IT controls (GITC).
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA security and controls, IT governance, and data protection regulations.
• Experience leading SOX implementations in companies potentially transitioning to a listed structure.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive process improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in a regional role, overseeing multiple business units across different countries.
• You have an analytical but entrepreneurial mindset and likes to be challenged, creating structure and change in a dynamic environment.

You will play a crucial role in the further development and buildup of the Internal Control function.
