KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Substantial relevant experience of the service area / profession, with evidence of specialist knowledge and work responsibilities appropriate to the role.
· Good knowledge of service and of other areas of the authority relevant to the service and awareness of wider sector / external influences.
· Excellent customer service skills, with experience of resolving escalated customer enquires in the specialist service area.
· Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to negotiate and persuade and build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels. Ability to communicate with, engage and influence customers, partners and stakeholders.
· Resilience, flexibility and experience of change management.
· Experience of partnership working.
· Good planning and organisational skills, with proven ability to prioritise and co-ordinate workloads, monitor and evaluate work, to ensure deadlines are achieved.
· Proven initiative and judgement to identify and resolve problems.
· Good ICT skills - both standard Microsoft applications and specialist systems.

Numeracy and literacy qualification e.g., GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

Responsibilities

PURPOSE

To provide support and provide programme support to the Early Years and Inclusion team.
To undertake administrative functions that support tasks or activities that are undertaken as part of the Early Years Inclusion Pathway unclosing the Special Education Inclusion Fund (SENIF)
To provide guidance to colleagues, families and stakeholders with regards to the outcome of a range of referrals into the Early Years and Inclusion team.
To manage administrative issues within the Early Years Inclusion pathway
To provide regular annual performance monitoring statistics regarding the Early Years Inclusion Pathway including SENIF
