INTERNAL IT MANAGER

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Internal IT Manager to lead and manage our internal IT operations. This role is responsible for maintaining a secure, efficient, and reliable IT infrastructure that supports all departments within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the internal IT environment, including hardware, software, networks, and systems.
  • Manage and mentor a small team of IT support staff.
  • Ensure the security of data, network access, and backup systems.
  • Plan and implement upgrades, enhancements, and new systems to meet business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to user systems, applications, and connectivity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT policies, procedures, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess and fulfill technology needs.
  • Manage IT vendor relationships and service contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor system performance and generate reports on usage, uptime, and security incidents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments, networking, and cloud services.
  • Experience with cybersecurity best practices and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (Spanish) is highly preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), Cisco (CCNA), or ITIL.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT service management (ITSM) processes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 per year
