Description
Your mission Join us in solving one of industrial robotics' toughest challenges R3 Robotics is developing the AI-powered dismantling platform that transforms end-of-life electric vehicle systems into strategic sources of critical materials. As global electrification accelerates, the surge in batteries and e-motors requires automated solutions that manual disassembly cannot provide. We are addressing this industrial bottleneck by enabling the automated dismantling of complex systems at scale through computer vision, artificial intelligence, and specialized robotic tooling. Following a successful €20M Series A funding round led by HG Ventures and Suma Capital, we are expanding across Europe and preparing for our entry into the United States market in 2026. We partner with major industrial recyclers and automotive OEMs to deliver measurable impact. If you seek to work on advanced robotics within a well-funded organization scaling internationally, this is your opportunity. Your Role As an Internal Logistics & Technical Operator at R3 Robotics, you'll keep our Karlsruhe facility running by owning the flow of materials in and out of the site, from receiving incoming deliveries to preparing modules and scrap for outbound shipment. You'll be the person who makes sure the right parts, tools, and consumables are where they need to be, that inventory is accurate, and that materials are handled, recycled, and disposed of safely and efficiently. This is a varied, practical role at the intersection of logistics and operations. Alongside the core warehouse and facilities work, you'll provide technical operator support to the engineering and disassembly teams as needed, helping with disassemblies, the workshop, and equipment when extra hands are required. It's ideal for someone practical and organized who takes ownership, spots better ways of doing things, and wants to grow within a fast moving robotics company. Your Responsibilities Inbound & inventory Run the incoming deliveries process: receive, check, and log goods accurately. Manage and continuously update inventory in Airtable, keeping records reliable and current. Handle purchasing of consumables, tools, and items for the facility. Outbound & materials Prepare and handle outgoing shipments of modules and scrap, including documentation. Handle and label battery modules safely and correctly for storage and transport. Manage the recycling of materials and develop effective, low cost solutions for outgoing scrap. Safety & technical support Operate a forklift and follow all warehouse and dangerous goods safety procedures, including ADR awareness for lithium battery modules. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility and workshop environment. Provide technical operator support to the engineering team as needed, assisting with disassemblies, equipment, and general practical tasks. Your profile Required Practical experience in warehouse, logistics, facilities, or a similar operational role. Organized and good with detail, comfortable using digital tools to track inventory such as Airtable (training provided). A proactive mindset focused on solutions. You look for better ways to do things, not just complete the task. Able to work independently and reliably in a fast paced environment. Comfortable with physical work (lifting, standing, moving goods) in a warehouse or workshop setting. Willingness to obtain a forklift license and First Aid certification (training provided). Good working English. Preferred Forklift license and/or First Aid certification already held. Awareness of dangerous goods handling (ADR), especially lithium batteries. Experience handling or shipping batteries, electronics, or scrap and recyclable materials. Basic mechanical or technical aptitude and comfort with hand and power tools. Experience with shipping documentation (e.g. CMR) or procurement processes. Why us? High degree of collaboration and autonomy while working with a group of highly skilled, committed and supportive peers Transparent culture where everyone of us is highly valued Development of your professional skills and knowledge by taking ownership of challenging tasks and responsibilities, supported by Leads and peers “Getting things done” attitude, and access to cutting edge technologies A guaranteed steep continuous learning curve from day one Complementary Health Insurance About us AUTOMATED DISMANTLING.
