Responsibilities

The Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Center is looking for a Clinical Respirologist to join a group of existing respirologists.
The successful candidate will be part of the Respirology group practice, and will provide inpatient and on call services. Some of the existing services for respirology service include pulmonary function lab, sleep lab in addition to access to bronchoscopy. EBUS is an expected addition in the expansion. The candidate is expected to have an outpatient practice available in the area and serve the population of Fraser East.
Abbotsford regional hospital has inpatient service coverage on internal medicine unit run by GIM MRP group as well as hospitalist units. There are also multiple internal medicine subspecialty groups, including nephrology, neurology and cardiology, in addition to gastroenterology and infectious diseases services.
Qualifications: The candidate must have passed the Royal College Examination in Internal Medicine & Respirology and must demonstrate evidence of sufficient clinical experience in all areas of Respirology. Experience in interventional respirology and pulmonary fibrosis will be considered an asset.
