We will train on specific task items listed below, although the right fit will quickly and easily pick up responsibilities and manage them on their own. Location: Austin, TX (on-site position), Remote if outside of Austin area. Type: Full Time Min. Experience: Entry Level Qualifications: * 1-2 years of previous job experience * 1-2 years of medical record/auditing experience highly preferred * Proactive and positive team player with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality * Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and G Suite What you will be doing at ABC: * Assign Correct Billing Codes * Ensure codes match both the provider’s documentation and insurance requirements. * Approve charges for claim submission - Central Reach * Double-check that all patient, provider, and insurance details are correct. * Verify Insurance Requirements * Make sure services are covered and meet payer-specific billing rules to reduce claim denials. * Identify and fix issues like duplicate charges, incorrect codes, or missing authorizations.
