Job Title: Internal Quality Management System (QMS) Audit Lead Location: Rochester Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Deliver an effective internal audit process that delivers value not just compliance Point of contact for our external EN/IA 9100 Certification: o Own the delivery of our external certification compliance o Own the timely closure of corrective actions. Manage the transition to future versions of IA 9100 and future issues of Military Aviation Authority Regulatory Articles Ensure we remain compliant to sections 4,5,6 and 9 of EN/IA 9100 Travel to other BAE Systems facilities will be required Your skills and experiences: Essential: Internal Auditing in an ISO9001 (minimum) certified business (EN9100 advantageous) Hands on experience of managing external certification audits to ISO9001 minimum (EN9100 advantageous) Desirable: Auditing to other standards e.g. DO-178C, DO-254 or MAA MAOS/DAOS, EASA/CAA Part 145 / 21.G Coaching/development of other internal auditors Use of 8D RCCA techniques and quality science tools e.g. FMEA, Control Plans, MSA’s etc Lead Auditor Qualification Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. You will be the focal for ensuring we have a value-added internal audit systems that delivers value as well as compliance.
