Working alongside a collaborative team, you will plan, implement, and document engaging, play-based learning experiences that reflect children’s interests and developmental needs. You will support daily routines and well-being, actively supervise indoor and outdoor activities, and build positive relationships through open communication with families and colleagues. Qualifications: Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) Good standing with the College of ECE Skills & Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to guide, support, and build positive relationships with children requiring behavioural guidance, using responsive and inclusive strategies. Strong knowledge and application of How Does Learning Happen? to foster environments that support belonging, well-being, engagement, and expression. Proven experience in planning, implementing, and documenting developmentally appropriate full-day programs for infant, toddler and preschool-aged children Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and engage families in their child’s learning. Certifications: Standard First Aid with CPR Level C Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check Key Responsibilities: Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate activities that promote children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development in alignment with How Does Learning Happen? Ensure the health, safety, supervision, and overall well-being of children at all times, following CCEYA requirements and Umbrella policies and procedures. Create and maintain an engaging, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment that supports exploration, belonging, and positive relationships with children and their families. Collaborate with team members to support consistent daily routines, positive behaviour guidance, and smooth program operations.
