Description

At Protective Care Group we are excited to share an opportunity to join us as Internal Recruiter. At PCG, our young people are at the heart of what we do, we were founded due to personal, lived experience and exist to provide what we know is missing. Every role here matters and contributes to the success of our young people so if you are looking for a new role with purpose, keep reading. As there’s such strong demand for our services, the team will continue to build which means we can offer you a genuine chance to grow with us.

REQUIREMENTS

We’re a friendly, fast-paced and collaborative team. We love what we do, we have fun along the way and most importantly - we get the job done. We’re looking for someone who not only understands why we do what we do, but shares our passion for making a genuine difference in young people’s lives - and can recognise that same drive in others. Occasional travel may be required, but it won’t be frequent.

Responsibilities

To achieve our goals, we need the right people in the right place at the right time. Alongside your core role of sourcing and selecting the right people, we want you to get involved with helping us improve; with projects, with developing our service and ultimately with retention longer term.

Tasks and challenges within your role will vary, but your main responsibilities will include:

  • Source and consistently attract high calibre candidates through multiple channels aligned to demand
  • Work closely with the business to understand hiring requirements
  • Ensure that Job Descriptions are clear, accurate, fit for purpose and of a consistent format
  • Screen, interview and progress candidates through the recruitment process
  • Bring our business to life for our candidates through running an engaging, supportive and informative recruitment process
  • Design and run creative, engaging and effective candidate assessment days
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to every candidate
  • Provide high standard interview guidance to hiring managers
  • Make the right hiring decisions by aligning the business and the candidates in those choices, and also challenging decisions when necessary
  • We understand that changing roles and joining a new company is a big step for people, so you’ll provide clarity at every step and importantly you’ll listen, care and support
  • Play an active part in projects and continuous improvement - supporting with recruitment events and job fairs across the UK
