Join our Finance team as an Internal Reporting Manager and open up new pathways you never dreamt possible!

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and manage a team of Management Accountants to produce monthly management accounts, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flows, variance analysis, key performance indicators, and supporting commentaries.
  • Maintain and improve management accounting processes, implementing and communicating any required changes.
  • Provide supporting data and relevant analysis to aid decision-making for strategic business unit (SBU) teams.
  • Ensure management and half-year/full-year fiscal reporting is fully reconciled and aligned.
  • Prepare, submit, and review all consolidated management accounts for SBU and Group Finance review and sign-off.
  • Validate and upload monthly actual results, budgets, and forecasts to the Group consolidation and reporting model (HFM) in line with required deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Services Management Team to execute strategic and operational objectives.
  • Lead and support designated projects, ensuring compliance with finance processes, controls, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues, creating innovative solutions to maintain a balance between risk, reward, and compliance.
  • Recruit, lead, manage, coach, and appraise team members, ensuring motivation and effective management to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with Heads of Departments, Financial Controllers (FCs), and Finance Directors (FDs).
  • Provide effective business partnering and relationship management.

Who we’re looking for

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Preferably a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent) with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong accounting experience with a sound understanding of management accounting disciplines.
