ROLE OBJECTIVE:

Are you a strategic and detail-oriented professional ready to make your mark in live entertainment? We’re looking for an Internal Risk Manager to join Live Nation Australasia on a 12-month fixed term contract, based in Melbourne.
In this newly created role, you’ll oversee risk management systems, processes, and reporting across our diverse entertainment portfolios, including Touring, Festivals, Venue Operations, and Sponsorships. You’ll play a key part in ensuring operational resilience and compliance, while helping to foster a strong culture of risk awareness throughout the business.
Working closely with executive leaders and global teams, you’ll design and implement frameworks, monitor risk activity, and provide timely reporting that enables informed decision-making. This is an exciting opportunity to embed best-practice risk management across the world’s leading live entertainment company.
If you think you have what it takes, apply with a cover letter outlining why you’re the perfect candidate for this role.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Developing frameworks: Review and enhance existing risk management systems, ensuring compliance with WHS and regulatory requirements.
  • Designing reporting tools: Create standardised templates, dashboards, and escalation protocols for effective risk oversight.
  • Monitoring group risk: Collaborate with executives and global teams to identify, assess, and track operational, financial, reputational, and safety risks.
  • Tracking metrics: Define and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and performance measures to highlight emerging issues and trends.
  • Managing incidents: Lead responses to risk events, maintain a centralised log, and integrate lessons learned into planning.
  • Engaging stakeholders: Act as a trusted advisor, providing training and fostering accountability across teams.
  • Ensuring compliance: Align practices with global policies, regulatory standards, and internal governance requirements.
