Minster, a leading specialist insulation, dry lining and ceilings solutions distributor, are looking for Internal Sales Advisors to join the team in our brand new branch in Northampton, who are as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-5pm
Location: Minster, Kilvey Road, Brackmills, Northampton, NN4 7BQ

Key Responsibilities

  • Get to know our product lines and services in order to make the most of all customer interactions
  • Develop great relationships with new and existing customers (both face to face and over the phone), understanding their needs and providing proactive advice and solutions so that you can deliver the best experience possible
  • Dealing with lapsed accounts and generate sales with new and existing customers - consistently reviewing customer account ledger
  • Use our in-house systems at the trade counter to process customer orders, organise delivery times, and keep customers updated throughout their journey
  • Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
  • Maintain stock levels, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience

  • Industry experience would be beneficial
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • A strong communicator at all levels - able to build rapport with customers
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload accordingly
  • Efficiently use IT equipment and have a strong telephone presence
