JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The main responsibilities of the role are to:
  • Building relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Handling inbound calls and conducting follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Providing accurate quotations.
  • Help manage and develop the CRM system.
  • General administration work.
    Working in a small team in an open plan office, the successful applicant will benefit from being involved with other areas of the company. Outstanding candidates will be able to mould the role as their own. No previous knowledge of engineering is needed, with fresh perspectives to the sector encouraged.

ESSENTIAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • A people person with confident communication skills, both face to face and over the phone.
  • High standard of written English.
  • Able to work alongside others as part of a small flexible team.
  • Methodical mindset with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to take in-depth notes.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

DESIRABLE CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a sales/administrative role or similar.
  • High level of competency in MS Office suite and similar.
  • Previous experience with Sage accounting software.
  • A creative flair!
  • UK driving licence.
