We are looking for an Internal Sales person as part of a permanent contract for our site based in Ashford for the Hawk-woods brand.

Responsibilities

Due to our expansion, we seek a highly motivated individual who is happy with autonomy, flexibility and a strong work ethic. The role operates in a dynamic environment and thrives on the ability to adapt to shifting priorities with the initiative to focus on tasks independently.

The day to day tasks involves the following but not limited to:

  • Manage an existing portfolio of B2B Customers, composed of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and/or key accounts. Monitor the entire Customers portfolio and ensure Customer retention.
  • Oversee and track the client portfolio, managing both incoming inquiries and active retention-building efforts.
  • Identify development opportunities and initiate additional sales with assigned Customers.
  • Manage incoming calls effectively and establish customer requirements.
  • Develop and enhance technical and sales skills in order to

  • Understand customer requirements

  • Convey technical information to the technical team,

  • Understand the technical solution proposed by the technical team.

  • Conduct outgoing calls to regularly engage with Customers, ensure satisfaction, and identify needs.

  • Expand the client portfolio by following the sales guidelines set by the sales management team.
  • Be proactive in suggesting improvements to our processes as part of ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
  • Take a proactive approach to sales.
  • Implement the commercial policy established by sales management.
  • Track non-compliance issues to completion.
  • Monitor collections and actions.
  • Be able to draft a basic proposal for a customized package solution.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, confident and possess an entrepreneurial flare. The successful candidate will be professional, proactive and have experience of managing an existing customer base, as well as developing new business.
