Are you a confident communicator with a knack for building great customer relationships? John Smith’s, a leading supplier of architectural ironmongery in Aberdeen, is looking for a driven and organised Internal Sales Executive to join our growing sales team.
About the Role:
In this customer-focused sales role, you’ll work closely with both new and existing clients to support their needs, process orders efficiently, and help grow their accounts. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, service, and seeing results.
Your responsibilities will include:
· Handling inbound customer enquiries by phone and email
· Processing sales orders and quotations accurately and efficiently
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with key trade accounts
· Working towards account growth targets and performance KPIs
· Liaising with suppliers and our warehouse team to ensure smooth delivery of goods
What we’re looking for:
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· A proactive, sales-driven mindset with good attention to detail
· Ability to manage and grow customer accounts professionally
· Organised and confident using order processing systems (training provided)
Previous experience in sales, the construction industry, or knowledge of ironmongery/power tools would be advantageous, but we welcome applicants with strong customer service backgrounds who are keen to learn.
