UGL WORLDWIDE LOGISTICS - Internal Sales Executive - Office Based Air, Ocean, -(Must have UK freight experience)- ( M.I.O.C) Building Manchester.
UGL WORLDWIDE LOGISTICS an independent freight forwarder, specialising in transporting freight all over the globe. Our many services include general forwarding by sea, air and land, customs brokerage, haulage and warehousing, imports and exports to and from any UK port to any destination worldwide.
We are looking for enthusiastic Internal Sales / Operational person to join our team in Manchester.
Job Purpose (Must have UK freight forwarding experience)
To support BDM Team with quotations and Identify and develop new business opportunities across a range of market sectors via air and ocean Road / from all areas of the world. experience in Far East markets an advantage.
The role includes quotation and negotiations along with involvement in the implementation process , continued client contact with further development of other lanes of traffic. Generate and follow up of sales leads to a successful conclusion
Regular calls to new and current clients . develop a pipeline of business which can be converted into tangible business for the company

KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure that potential clients are profitable and margins are maximised via quotes and tenders.
  2. To plan and implement a program of visits to existing and potential clients to
    create and maintain awareness of the company’s product range and to ensure
    complete client satisfaction.
  3. To abide with UK law, and policies and procedures set by the company.
  4. Identify sales opportunities and negotiate within established policies to obtain
    orders which meet sales objectives covering volume mix and margins.
  5. To develop a list of potential Target Accounts who have regular business which can be approached throughout the year as the backbone of all sales activities. Ideally to win their business.
