Description

JOB OBJECTIVES

To provide a professional and efficient sales-based customer service for all incoming enquiries by ascertaining customer requirements, providing product information, quotations, sales orders and timely follow-up correspondence
To make outgoing sales calls to existing and new prospects
To use Business Central and excel to record accurate information about each enquiry, from initial enquiry to close of sale, (including any samples sent and orders placed)
To contribute to a calm, professional and efficient working environment and always maintain a professional company image through e-mail, in-person and telephone interactions

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· To possess a good level of sales and customer service experience
· To have knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Business Central (Ideal), CRM, Excel and Outlook
· To have a thirst for understanding the products and marketplace
· To manage workload effectively, efficiently and with an attention to detail
· To have a flexible and “can do” attitude
· To approach the role in a calm, organised and professional manner
· To be personable and have an ability to communicate at all levels
· To have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£31,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

· To process, manage and direct enquiries (via phone, e-mail, website, social media)
· To provide product information, prices and quotations to prospects
· To deal with any queries via phone, email and general correspondence
· To make outgoing calls for existing enquiries and new prospects, working alongside our field-based sales team
· To qualify leads for ‘supply only’ enquiries
· To use Excel and Business Central to manage and follow up all leads
· To convert prospects into customers
· To work towards sales targets based on the conversion of enquiries into sales
· To manage and follow up supply & fit enquiries while copying in the relevant Perfectly Green fitting partner
· To arrange for samples to be sent to prospective customers, where appropriate
· To support the field-based sales team with enquiries relating to Landscapers, Distributors, Merchants, Playground Companies etc
· To welcome and assist ‘walk in’ customer sales
· To maintain office records
· To comply with any other reasonable tasks requested by a Director or Manager
