ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Experience of managing and motivating a B2B telesales or account management team.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and results focused.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate.
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring a sales team.
  • Recognises and rewards success, tackles poor performance constructively.
  • Previous sales experience in hand and power tools is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Working as our Internal Sales Manager your role will include:

  • Day to day management and development of all sales activities within the Internal Sales team to achieve maximum profitability and growth.
  • Train, mentor and coach the team to ensure individual sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. Create improvement plans in line with training and development needs.
  • Work with the Sales Director and Sales Managers to review customer allocation and support with the reallocation where necessary.
  • Work with the relevant stakeholders including buying and supply chain to look at potential areas for improved sales.
  • Provide regular reports and analysis of sales and GP performance to senior management as required, making recommendations as appropriate.
  • Take ownership of own customer base, proactively generating new business through product promotions and special offers, ensuring targets are met and exceeded
