Description

An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent electrical wholesaler with 8 branches located across Sussex and Kent.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic, customer-focused Internal Salesperson to join our fast-paced and thriving team at our Renewables division. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and ambitious with experience within the electrical wholesale or construction industry, to work alongside the existing sales force and support the smooth running of a busy branch.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service and will also be supporting the wider team, ensuring the effective overall running of the branch. You will be responsible for supporting our customers’ needs by providing expert advice, processing orders, and maintaining relationships with existing clients, while also identifying new sales opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
· Assisting customers with product selection and designs
· Working with customers to achieve the best value for their projects
· Understanding customer requirements and the products that are required
· Offering expert product advice and recommending suitable solutions to customers.
· Arranging supplier quotes for projects
· Arranging customer quotes for projects
· Working on delivery schedules to suit customer requirements, keeping the customers up to date with these delivery timings.
· Keeping customer records up to date
· Processing customer orders efficiently and accurately.
· Maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and prospects.
· Managing quotes and pricing, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
· Keeping up to date with industry trends, new products, and company promotions.
Key Requirements:
· Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role (preferably within the electrical wholesale or trade industry).
· Strong product knowledge of electrical products is an advantage.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
· A proactive attitude and a passion for sales.
This is an office base role.
A Full, clean UK driving licence would be beneficial for this role.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
