Nammo Defense Systems, Inc., a defense contractor, is the primary USA operation of the Nammo Group (Nammo AS). Nammo Defense Systems Inc. (NDS) develops, manufactures, and supports Shoulder Launched Munitions (SLMs), energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aerospace structures.

• Supervises and coordinate daily activities of QC Techs
• Drives completion of plant/line daily inspection goals and expectations
• Provides supervision and goal setting for direct reports
• Implement and execute the procedures and processes defined by the AS9100 based on quality management systems (TQMS) unutilized at NDS.
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality inspection protocols and procedures
• Assists in process and production problems solving and implementation of RCCA
• Responsible for oversight of documenting hardware or material discrepancies
• Motivate and guide team in quality best practices with professionalism and positivity
• Monitors and reviews inspection and test data, assisting in identifying trends, and participating in corrective-action investigations as necessary
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality
• Provide training, guidance, and support to quality team members, promoting a culture of quality, excellence, and compliance
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other support departments to ensure quality products are delivered on time
• Maintains clear communication with management and provides reports on quality activities and performance metrics
• Participates in internal audits, facilitates third-party audits, and ensures audit findings are addressed and corrected in a timely manner
• Reviews work for accuracy and compliance
• Follow standard practices and safety procedures.
