Role: International Account Manager
Location: Pero, Milan, Italy (80 % travelling)
Contract type: full-time, permanent contract

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated and professional International Account Manager for our Italian Business Unit who would play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new, long-term business opportunities in the international market, speeding up and improving the quality of Marioff Hi-Fog Fire Protection Packaged Solutions sales for the protection of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors, diesel generators.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Proactively identify & acquire new clients new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas and Power Generation sectors.
  • Expand the client portfolio in specific strategic sectors, including oil & gas and Power Generation.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle by actively cooperating with the Italian Business Units.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with local partners, distributors, and sales agents.
  • Create international penetration strategies
  • Achieve the target business KPIs in terms of sales, revenue, profit margins and client acquisition.
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

  • A minimum of 5 years of work experience in business development & sales activities preferably in Oil & Gas environment with an excellent track record
  • Excellent communication & negotiation abilities with a fluency in English and Italian language
  • BSc degree in Engineering / other related fields (or strong technical abilities gathered from work experience)
  • Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude and understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Capacity to adapt to diverse cultural contexts
  • Ability to maintain high motivation and focus on targets even in challenging market conditions
  • Previous commercial international experience preferably in the Middle East, Far east and Brazil market
  • Availability for international travel for no less than 80% of annual work activity
