STANDARDS & REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relatable field of study required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year related experience working with data administration and/or international students.

Responsibilities

The International Application Coordinator supports the application process for international students and provides related administrative services as required.

Key Areas of Accountability

  • Maintain relationships with key agencies, schools, churches and relevant organizations in the region.
  • Assist Admissions Counsellors with follow-up calls and emails to agents, students/stakeholders, as required.
  • Assist with campus visits as assigned. Organize group visits, individual appointments and campus tours.
  • Manage international student applications and the application process for programs in the region.
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized filing systems using university’s enterprise systems such as Aqueduct and Jenzabar. This will include entering data, checking missing materials, uploading documents, and categorizing applications. Classify, log and store paper and electronic files.
  • Label, prepare and transfer files in response to requests from other departments (e.g. transfer credits evaluation, missing documents).
  • Implement and update records classification, retention and disposal when information is provided or updated by applicants, students, agents, or other staff.
  • Assist the TWU Global receptionist to process application charges and other related fees.
  • Prepare Admissible letter and Letter of Acceptance depending on the stage of the application and evaluation results. Obtain the Director of Asia Marketing and Partner Relations’ signature and Letter of Acceptance and send by mail.
  • Contact students to ask for documents or notify them to follow up on the latest course information.
  • Compile, compare and analyze data, statistics and other information to support research activities or respond to requests from the Director of Asia Marketing and Partner Relations and other departments
  • Work with the front desk’s Student Support Associate on course registrations related to TWU Global programs.
  • Other duties as required.
