As an International Business Development Manager you will be representing the full breath of BioIVT products and services and manage client relationships within the assigned territories in the APEC region. You will develop strong relationships with distributors, resellers, biotech and pharmaceutical companies that are most suited for a single contact sales approach. You will be entrepreneurial in your approach, recognizing and capitalizing on growth and diversification opportunities within the account. We have an excellent internal training programme and scientific support network for you to utilise. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to developing and successfully implementing a business plan to forecast and achieve sales goals, diversifying accounts, developing and maintaining relationships, managing distribution channels as well as direct clients, providing training, addressing client enquiries and assist in distributary inventory management activities. If you have a life science background and a proven track record as BDM in APAC, and your are ready for your next opportunity we would love to hear from you! To succeed in this role, you will need sophisticated communication, interpersonal, problem-solving and organisational skills, have cultural understanding, be driven and result as well as client support oriented, and have strong passion to understand complex client needs and translate that into a product or service that fully responds to that need. BA in Biology or basic science related field, plus minimum of 4 years commercial life science experience (microbiology, biology, chemistry or biochemistry preferred). English proficiency is a must. Good knowledge of Chinese or Japanese or Hindi languages are a plus. This is a fully remote position with the requirements of frequent travel to assigned APAC territory (international travel requirements are around 50%).
