INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER –

Location: Flexible – on site (Rotherham), Remote, or Hybrid.
Salary: £60,000–£80,000 per year + bonus

We’re Select Alloys & Materials Ltd – a family-run business with a friendly, motivated team. We trade and process Nickel and Cobalt superalloys and have built a strong reputation for quality and reliability. Our business is growing, and we’re about to move into a brand new site that’s three times the size of our current premises. It’s an exciting time to join us as we look at new opportunities to grow and expand our network worldwide.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • At least 3 years’ experience trading Nickel and Cobalt superalloys
  • Someone who’s confident, proactive, and happy to take ownership of their work
  • A good communicator who enjoys building strong business relationships
  • Comfortable with international travel as and when needed
  • Someone who enjoys working as part of a team but can work independently too

Responsibilities

We’re looking for someone experienced and enthusiastic to take on the role of International Business Development Manager. Your focus will be on growing our supplier and customer base in Europe and Asia, with plenty of scope to make your mark. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and strengthening relationships with suppliers and customers, especially in Europe and Asia
  • Travelling to meet suppliers, customers, and attending industry events when needed
  • Working closely with our sales team to share ideas and drive business growth
  • Negotiating deals and managing international trading activities
  • Keeping an eye on market trends and spotting new opportunities for us to explore
