Description

DESCRIPTION

The Premier League Community Coach Development Programme has been designed to upskill local community football coaches across the world, delivering structured development which will enable participants to expand their provision within local communities and allow more young people to benefit from high-quality and inclusive coaching.
We are looking to add two additional International Community Delivery Leads to our small delivery team roster, travelling between key international markets and the UK, delivering exceptional coaching development events and programmes.
These are highly active and interactive roles, involving international travel, engaging delivery of practical programmes to participants, liaison with partners and planning elements with the Premier League International Communities Team. Programmes will encompass a wide range of activities, including community coaching for children and young adults and professional development for community coaches, educators, and coach developers.
We anticipate an initial period of ‘shadowing’ our experienced Delivery Leads, then responsibility for the delivery of part of our busy calendar of courses and events. This entails an estimated 10 days per month of working days, including some home and office-based planning, some UK event delivery, but predominantly delivery at international sites.
We are seeking confident, resilient, and highly capable coaches to represent the Premier League in local markets. Coaches must be confident multitaskers who can work independently to support participants with a wide range of needs. Given the strong demand for Premier League programmes, this role requires individuals who can take initiative, uphold our values, and maintain excellence while operating solo in the field.

WHO WE ARE

The Premier League is home to some of the most competitive and compelling football in the world. The League and its Clubs use the power and popularity of the competition to inspire fans, communities and partners in the UK and across the world. The Premier League brings people together from all backgrounds. It is a competition for everyone, everywhere and is available to watch in 900 million homes in 189 countries.
We have a wide variety of responsibilities. These include organising the competition and its Handbook as well as managing the centralised broadcast and commercial rights. The work we do in conjunction with the Clubs also goes far beyond the 90 minutes. We support and provide a framework for youth development, we protect the organisation’s intellectual property, support the wider game and community programmes, undertake international development work and liaise with governing bodies and other leagues.
Our workforce includes a cohort of skilled contracted professionals, working with our staff on projects and programmes across the UK and globally. We are proud to work with these experts in their fields, who bring specialist skillsets to the Premier League and help us to deliver an ambitious programme of initiatives right across our business.
The Premier League is an equal opportunities employer and strives to create an inclusive culture where talent can flourish. We believe in the potential of everyone and open our doors to those who share those values. All appointments will be made based on merit; however, we particularly encourage applications from women, people from minority ethnic communities, LGBTQ+ people and disabled people.
