Project Context and Scope Established in 1951, the International Organization for Migration is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental partners. IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants. The consultancy will be carried out within the framework of the IOM project “Improving migration governance and access to services for displaced Afghans in Pakistan and Central Asia”, funded by the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship department of Canada (IRCC) under the International Migration Capacity Building Program (IMCBP). IOM will conduct a needs analysis of the capacity building system of the Migration Service Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs RK. Based on the findings of this analysis, IOM will then develop recommendations and support the government to implement these recommendations. Responsibilities
The consultant will conduct a needs analysis of the capacity building system for the Migration Service Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs RK within the scope of an IOM project focused on improving migration governance for displaced Afghans in Pakistan and Central Asia. Based on the findings, the consultant will develop and support the government in implementing recommendations for capacity building.
